John Clifford School

You will find us on Nether Street, near to the centre of Beeston. The original premises date from 1898 and the Victorian building offers a wonderful history resource for our children! Our large school site offers a rich variety of experience for our children. At John Clifford we understand the importance of happy playtimes and we have made it a priority to provide a wide range of play equipment and apparatus for break times. There are two large playgrounds with a trim track, the activator, benches and shelters for the children to enjoy. We have a large sports’ field and a wildlife garden and pond area where the children can learn about their environment with their teachers.

Part of the school is on 2 floors and accommodation is generous. We are very fortunate to have a Foundation Unit, two halls, a separate dining room, two large library areas, a superb computer suite with interactive white board, a drama room and a hall set aside for community use. In addition to our 9 classrooms we have a number of extra teaching areas, including the Beehive. All classes are equipped with interactive white boards, too.
