Open Evenings – come and join us!

In the first fortnight of March, I always look forward to Open Evenings as we get a chance to talk to you about the progress your child is making.

This year we are really making an effort to promote some of our services to you:

‘Dazzlers’ – the after school club will be in the infant hall to talk to you about school and holiday childcare arrangements.

Chilwell School – For Year 6, Mrs Parr will be in attendance on March 3rd to talk to you about induction procedures and answer any questions.

Speaking English as a second language – Miss King will be available to talk to parents from ethnic minorities about how we teach children to use the target language in school.

ICT – pop in to the ICT suite next to the office and look at the work Mrs. Board has developed with children in all classes from Year 1-6.

Percy’s Hut – play activities will be set out and children who use the hut can show you what they get up to in there.

Individual Needs – Mrs Pearson and Mrs Swinscoe have activities set up to show how we meet the needs of individual children.

School Meals - Tracey our cook will explain about the new school menu, how youa pply for free school meals and set up some tasting.

Year 5-6 cake sale - mmmm!

And refreshments – Ill be serving tea and coffee in the hall.

Some-one has to do the dirty work!!
