Autumn Term 2019
What have we been up to?
During the first half term, we met as a committee to discuss and review the John Clifford School Child Friendly Anti-Bullying Policy which was created by the Junior Leadership Team during the Summer term. We made some changes in the language together, and we prepared ourselves for a meeting that the committee have planned with our link governor on Thursday 17th October.
As a team, we also began to plan an assembly which we will be delivering to the rest of the school during 'Friendship Week' in Autumn 2. We discussed whole school themes for the week and activities which we would like all of the classes to get involved in.
What impact have we had?
So far, we have decided that it is important that all of the children and staff at John Clifford understand the Anti-Bullying Policy so we will be delivering an assembly as a committee to the whole school on Monday 11th November. We have also decided that we want to support children at play times with making friends and will be looking to make a friendship bench for the playground.
