Writing your introduction - Think about the character of Anansi. What is he like?

Greedy, lazy, chubby legs

We'd like you to now focus on writing the build up next - Anansi visits 2 characters (innovated characters) but doesn’t want to do any chores so ties a length of web to his leg. He thinks he has been very clever.

Then, list the other animals and food (see original story)

Problem-Anansi has all his legs tied to 8 different pots by lengths of web, when he suddenly they all get pulled!

What happens next?

Draft your story up to the 'problem' section of your plan over these two lessons. Having a grown up with you to share ideas will really help your writing.

Use this adverbials sheet to help you start your sentences.
