Maths WC 13.7.20

 

This week we'd like you to complete some more lessons on measures. There are 10 lessons left, please don't do all of these this week!! Our suggestion would be to complete 4 this week and the rest over the summer break if you wish.

This half term we are using the Oak National Academy for our online maths lessons. The Oak National Academy has lots of online resources for you to have a go at and we are going to use this for your maths learning this half term. Each section is split into lessons and this week we are continuing to look at measurement this week, moving on to time.

This half term we are using the Oak National Academy for our online maths lessons. The Oak National Academy has lots of online resources for you to have a go at and we are going to use this for your maths learning this half term. Each section is split into lessons and this week we are beginning to look at measurement by starting with weight.

 

We only want you to complete 3 lessons this week.

If you'd like extra practise reading mass on a scale you could do some baking or weigh different things around your house and estimate what they will weigh.

Each section is split into lesson and we are currently working on shape and angles. We asked you to try and look at lessons 9-12 last week so we'd like you to work on lessons 13 and 14 this week. Lesson 15 is an optional recap so I would suggest only completing this lesson if you feel you need a bit more practise.

 

Once you have done those two (maybe three) lessons, you can move on to the two multiplication and division lessons, multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.
