Kingswood Day 1
We all arrived safely and on time at Kingswood earlier after our annual stop off at RAF Cosford. It was great to see some new exhibitions at the museum including lots of WW1 paintings and aircraft. Last year children were privileged to see the remains of the only surviving German Dornier bomber that had been recovered from the depths of the North Sea. This year, a year on, children were able to see some of the artefacts recovered from the wreckage.
The children were keen to settle into their new surroundings and were quickly taking part in their first activities - archery and quad biking! The roast beef and Yorkshire pudding evening meal was welcomed by all children who showed clean plates all round!
After watching the 'Lego Movie' it was time for bed in time for a busy day of activities tomorrow.
Good night from all here.
