Thanks for your great attendance at reading morning and for those who are able to help on the walk next week. You will have noticed there is an optional homework grid in your child's reading diary as well as a list of Y1 statutory spellings for you to work on at home. We will also be doing spelling work through phonics, but your support is much appreciated. Please sign your child's reading diary and read 3+ times a week as this will really benefit their progress. Feel free to read/record other texts/activities from home. Below are some pictures of what we've been up to this week in Oak.

Have you seen the children's fabulous self portraits? We are really proud of their work. Could one of these be your child? Well done, what an artistic bunch!
