WALT: express how we are feeling about transitioning into Year 6

Take a look at these slides. This week, I'd like you to think about your move into Year 6? How are you feeling about that, especially after the Year 5 you have had?

Could you create some graffiti to show how you are feeling?

Follow the slides carefully and work through the questions with a trusted adult if you wish to.

Jot any thoughts you have down, in your workbook, to journal how you felt when reflecting on your answers to the questions. Share them with someone you trust if you like. This might help your creative process as well as your thought process.

I'll look forward to seeing your expressive graffiti. Remember to use the WAGOLLS to help inspire you.

STARTER: Would you rather…?

WALT: To create your own personal timeline

During lockdown, many people have had time to think about themselves and reflect on their lives.

This week in PSHE we would like you to reflect on your own life and create a timeline of personal events that have been significant to you. For example, starting school, the birth of a brother/sister, beginning a new hobby, winning a competition, getting a pet, learning to swim, learning to ride a bike etc.

You may feel it’s important to record a sad event, such as the loss of someone close to you which can even include a pet. These events are significant because they also help to form the characters we are today.
