John Clifford Primary & Nursery School ‘Be your best. Celebrate success. Together we will be successful.’

This week we are learning more about animal habitats and how animals have adapted or changed over time so that they can live in their habitat successfully.

We have lots of pictures of habitats that are very different from the microhabitats and woodland habitats that we have been learning about so far.

Remember to think about what animals need from their habitats such as food and water, shelter, the ability to move around and look after their babies.

What kind of animals live in these habitats and what do you think helps them to survive?

You should one or two different habitats and select the animals that should live there explaing why you think they could survive in this habitat.
There are lots of interesting video clips of how animals survive in their habitats  on the BBC website.
