This is Friday's Science lesson, Year 5
Week beginning 5th October 2020
So far, in Science we have explored the continent of Africa and how it is made up of 54 countries. We then looked at all the biomes that exist in it and used geographical shading to show them on a map of Africa. As well as learning about ecosystems and biomes we also investigated how animals have adapted to live in these environments.
Next, we will explore the lifecycles of the animals that live in these habitats.
Take a look at the PowerPoint PDF below and learn all you can about the lifecycles of amphibians, mammals, reptiles, insects and flowering plants. Which lifecycle do you find most interesting? Why?
Once you have chosen your favourite, can you produce your own poster displaying the different parts of the lifecycle you have chosen? Can you make it as creative as possible? Remember to add all your annotations and descriptions as well as your pictures to your lifecycle.
Remember to post your work onto the class blogs. We will look forward to seeing them all.
